Compliance & Certification
GIGW 3.0:
Government websites should comply with the applicable requirements of the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) 3.0.
STQC Certification:
STQC operates the Website Quality Certification Scheme (WQCS) to assess GIGW compliance and award Certified Quality Website (CQW) recognition.
Accessibility Assessment:
Applicable accessibility review/audit requirements must be fulfilled as part of the STQC evaluation process
Security Testing:
Security testing must follow the prescribed STQC process through applicable CERT-In-empanelled, NIC, STQC or authorised testing agencies.
Ongoing Compliance:
Certified websites are subject to applicable surveillance, reassessment and certification requirements.
