State Data Centre (SDC) is the Government of Uttar Pradesh's next-generation centralized digital infrastructure, designed to serve as the core hosting platform for mission-critical e-Governance applications, cloud services, and digital public infrastructure across the State. Building upon the successful implementation of
the existing State Data Centre, SDC significantly enhances computing capacity, storage, networking, security, and scalability to meet the growing demands of Digital Uttar Pradesh.
The upgraded facility supports a wide range of Government applications, including e-Office, CCTNS, e-District, Food & Civil Supplies, Social Welfare, UPSSSC, Excise, and numerous other departmental
platforms. Designed as a future-ready Government Cloud, SDC incorporates high-density infrastructure, virtualization technologies, disaster recovery capabilities, and enterprise-grade security to support emerging technologies such as Artificial
Intelligence, cloud-native applications, big data analytics, and digital governance initiatives.
The Government of Uttar Pradesh has allocated ₹100 Crore for the implementation of State Data Centre. The project is currently under implementation, with infrastructure planning, design, construction, procurement of advanced IT equipment, and deployment activities progressing in phases.
