The Digital Library – IT Equipment initiative, implemented for the Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, is a flagship digital inclusion initiative aimed at establishing modern, technology-enabled learning and knowledge centres across Gram Panchayats. The project focuses on bringing essential digital infrastructure
closer to rural communities and creating accessible spaces for education, digital learning and technology-enabled services.
The initiative equips selected Gram Panchayats with essential IT infrastructure, including desktop computers, UPS systems, network connectivity equipment, multifunction printers, smart LED displays and HD web cameras. These facilities enable students, youth
and citizens to access digital learning resources, online educational platforms, e-Governance services and other technology-enabled opportunities within their communities.
Through standardized IT infrastructure, structured sourcing and distribution, pre-dispatch inspection, warranty support and location-wise service infrastructure, the project establishes a reliable and sustainable digital ecosystem across rural Uttar Pradesh.
