The Electronic Point of Purchase (ePoP) System is a comprehensive digital procurement platform developed for the Department of Food & Civil Supplies, Government of Uttar Pradesh, to enable
transparent, efficient, and Aadhaar-enabled procurement of food grains at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) declared by the State Government. The platform digitizes the complete procurement lifecycle, ensuring seamless
procurement of wheat, paddy, coarse grains, and other notified crops from registered farmers through handheld ePoP devices.
The solution integrates farmer registration, Aadhaar-based biometric authentication, online land record verification through the Uttar Pradesh Bhulekh Portal, procurement management, banking systems, and Public Financial Management System (PFMS) to enable
secure validation and direct benefit transfers. By automating end-to-end procurement operations, the platform eliminates manual paperwork, minimizes fraudulent or duplicate transactions, and provides real-time monitoring through centralized dashboards, MIS reports, and audit trails. Built on a secure
and scalable architecture, the ePoP System enhances transparency, accountability, operational efficiency, and delivers faster, reliable, and farmer-centric procurement services across Uttar Pradesh.
